I am an arts administrator based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I have been working in the field of Arts Management since 1998 and have been programming arts events since 2001. I have booked hundreds of public events and I love my work.
I am the Director of Programming and Events for a major performing arts center in Milwaukee. Previously I was at UW-Platteville from 2001 to 2010. I was responsible for the artistic programming, marketing and daily operations of the Harry and Laura Nohr Gallery and the Center for the Arts including facility, personnel and artistic activities including management and selection of the CFA Performing Arts Series. I also served as Executive Director of the UWP Heartland Festival.
I have had a lot of training and some great jobs. I have a B.A. in Theatre Arts and a Masters in Community Arts Management and earned an additional certification in non-profit organizational management. I am a certified Public Assembly Facility Manager by the International Association of Assembly Managers (IAAM).
I have also worked with Natya Dance Theatre, Performing Arts Chicago the Royal George Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre Company, The Illinois State Museum, Ghostlight Theatre, Third Time Theatre, Piano for Richer Life and the Little Theatre on the Square.
I am a member of the Association of Performing Arts Presenters, Theatre Communications Group and the Wisconsin Presenters Network.
